Our Statement Of Faith

◆ We believe the Bible is the word of God,both the old and the new

testaments are inspired by God and therefore are inerrant.

(Psalms 19:7-13 , Psalms 119:89 , 105).

◆ They are designed to lead us to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. They

are fully inspired by God,given by verbal plenary inspiration and therefore

serve as the authoritative guide for Christian understanding,life and ministry.

(2 Timothy 3:15-17)

◆ We believe there is one God,Infinite,Eternal,Almighty and Perfect in

Holiness,Truth and Love.

(Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 Corinthians 8:4,6 Isaiah 44:6-8 )

◆ We believe God is triune meaning there are three persons of, the Father, the

Son and the Holy Spirit who co-exist are co-equal and are co-eternal

(Matthew 3:16-17 , 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 , 11Corinthians 13:14)

◆ Man was created male and female and in the image and likeness of God.

(Genesis 1:26-27) Through the original sin of Adam,mankind has fallen from God and has

become corrupt in his whole nature. By himself man is incapable of returning to God

(Romans 5:12,12-17 Jeremiah 17:9 John 6:44)

◆ Jesus Christ the Son is fully God and fully man,the only Saviour from the

Sin of the world (John 1:1, John20:28 Colossians 1:19 Hebrews 2:14-18).

◆ He was the word made flesh,supernaturally conceived by the Holy

Spirit,born of the virgin Mary and was perfect in nature and obedience

(John1:14 Luke 1:35 Hebrews 5:8)

4◆ He died and shed his blood on the cross as the vicarious atonement for the

sins of all mankind. He rose from the dead in His glorified Body,ascended

into heaven and will return in glory (John 19:33-37 ,1 Corinthians 15:1-3

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

◆Salvation,the gift of God is provided by His Grace through faith in Jesus

Christ on the basis of His shed blood in a vicarious death (Ephesians 2:8-9

Acts 16:31 Revelation 1:5)

◆ We believe the Holy Spirit ,the third person of the trinity is the Lord and

Giver of Life. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. He unites

man to Jesus Christ in faith and brings about the new birth which dwells

within the regenerate. He produces in them the fruit of the Spirit

(John 15:18-10 , Galatians 5:22 Romans 8:9-11 Galatians 9:22)

◆ We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking

in tongues that are supernatural and subsequent operation of the Spiritual gifts

through the believer who receives this baptism

(Acts 2:4 , 1 Corinthians 12:1-31 Acts 19:2-6)

◆ The Church which is the body of Christ and His Bride,now and in future is

dedicated to the worship and service of God,the observance of the ordinances

of baptism and the Lord’s supper as well as practice of good works

(Romans 12 :4-5 Ephesians 2:22 Titus 2:14)

◆ The primary task of the church in all ages is to lead all nations and

make disciples,bringing the gospel into every aspect of life and thought. The

ultimate mission of the Church is the redemption of souls through obedience

to the Great Commission

(Matthew 28:19-20 , 11Corinthians 10:4-5 )

◆ The consummation of all things includes the rapture of the Church followed

by literal 7 year period of tribulation on the earth,the Second Advent of Jesus

with His literal one thousand year reign on earth from Jerusalem and the final

judgement of the unsaved.
